ABOUT US

Our agency has been serving the Remus, Canadian Lakes and surrounding area since 1971. Mike Sweeney and Merv Holbeck started the agency. Unfortunately, Mike Sweeney passed away in 1977, and that is when Merv’s son Tom Holbeck joined the agency.

The Agency changed its name to Sweeney Holbeck Schuberg Agency in 1997 when Rex Schuberg became a partner until the fall of 2013. In January of 2014, Darla Edison and her husband Scott purchased the agency from Tom Holbeck. Darla and Scott decided to keep the names Sweeney and Holbeck in the agency name because of the family history and reputation in the area.

We have two convenient locations in Canadian Lakes and Remus. We serve our local area, but we are also licensed for the entire state of Michigan. All of our employees are licensed insurance agents who can help you make informed decisions regarding your insurance.
